New H2 project for decarbonised perspectives: Grant from German ministry as part of Energy Research Programme

Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH is pleased to receive a grant provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) as part of the Energy Research Programme. Proton Motor has been selected as part of a consortium of partners, including GKN Hydrogen GmbH, to develop a “modular, renewable and self-sufficient energy supply using H2 technology”. The grant for the new project, offically titled with the acronym „MarrakEsH“, will be received by Proton Motor across a period of 36 months and the quantum receivable will match the company’s investments in the project by 50 percent. The size of the grant is therefore not known at this stage, however, Proton Motor estimates that it will be eligible to receive up to approximately EUR 300,000 over the 36 month period.
